Our Summer Six-A-Side comp is being held again at Don Small Oval (Wolseley Avenue, Tacoma).
It will run each Monday evening starting 24th Oct 2011. We will break over Christmas from 20th Dec to 15 Jan inclusively. We will finish up with Semi Finals on 6th Feb 2012 and Grand Finals on 13th Feb 2012. If any Monday is washed out, we will play that round the Thursday of the same week, if possible – same times and fields as the Monday’s draw.
All information during the comp will be posted on this page, so keep checking it often.
Council do not allow football boots to be worn in summer comps, so only sandshoes or grass sports are allowed. Shin pads must be worn at all times by all players.
All players must accept the Rules and Conditions of the competition.
Competition fees are as follows (FNSW no longer charge on a “Student/Non-student” basis, but on a “Junior/Senior” basis – Juniors are any player who is 18 years or younger as at 31st Dec 2011 inclusive):
- Junior who was registered in a CCF 2011 winter competition - $45
- Junior who was NOT registered in a CCF 2011 winter competition - $60
- Senior who was registered in a CCF 2011 winter competition - $55
- Senior who was NOT registered in a CCF 2011 winter competition - $80
Each team needs to pay a $30 match fee each night before their game. This is to be collected by the manager from the players and paid at the desk. We will not accept individual player team fees.
A player must be a minimum of 16 years old to play in an All Age division. This does not mean turning 16 by the end of 2011, but they must be 16 at the time of playing.
The field status will be updated on the Field Status page by 3:30pm each Monday/Thursday. So if there’s any doubt, check the “Field Status” link in the 'Summer comp menu' each comp day. It is each player’s responsibility to do this – managers are not expected to use their own phones to continually SMS their team. They are also not expected to chase players up, so if you can’t make a game, have the respect to drop your manager a quick SMS so they’re aware. This is common decency.
