35 YEARS STRONG Introduction to your Club
Wednesday, 14 December 2011 00:00
2012 is our 35th Year of Participating in the Central Coast Football Competition. To celebrate we will be having a Reunion night at Wyong Leagues Club on Saturday 9th June 2012.
All information is in the 35th REUNION Tab in the Top MENU.
We were established in 1976 with a steering Committee, Kanwal Warnervale Rovers Football Club then entered teams into the 1977 Season on the Central Coast. Since then, the Club has grown into one of the biggest on the Central Coast. Catering for both Male & Female players from Under 5 to Seniors. The Club has continued to service the needs of members for many children, youth, and adults and will continue to do so for many years to come.
The focus of the Club is to foster and promote the game of Football, allowing players a safe, enjoyable learning experience in a team sport. Although the Club has been successful on the fields over the years, the emphasis is with the enjoyment of participation. Many friendships are formed by players, parents and spectators alike in the social friendly atmosphere.
We encourage all Team Coaches to attain their Coaching Certificates at various levels so that the best level of coaching is passed onto the players to further their game development. We held Certified Courses last season which accredited many Coaches, we will continue to do this in 2012.
In 2012 we will commence our very first Football Academy with a focus on individual skills & player development this will be conducted by experienced coaches Ian Brogan and Alan Hackett, both holding Senior Asia 'B' Coaching Licenses.
Free Goalkeeper Training will continue in 2012 and has been popularly attended in the past by many Junior Goalkeepers. This has proven to be very enjoyable and beneficial in their development in this specialised position.
As they say “ A Club is only as good as its Members” you have a great Club, be involved. Last Updated on Wednesday, 14 December 2011 21:03
